To me, the A70 is definitely a better phone, but I feel that the P30 lite should be compared to the A50 as they are around the same price point.

A70
+ Higher performance (especially in games)
+ Great AMOLED display
+ Impressive battery life
+ NFC
+ FM radio
- Obvious plastic build
- Unreliable and slower in-display fingerprint scanner
- Lack of third party accessories (as of now)

P30 lite
+ Solid build quality
+ Cameras perform well in low light
+ Physical fingerprint scanner is fast and reliable
+ Pocketable size (easier one hand use)
+ 2 year warranty
- Lower performance (noticeable stutters in UI)
- No NFC
- Free case did not fit the phone

Both lack wireless charging, but that's not an issue for me as I don't own a wireless charging dock.

Those concerned about the sizing, the A70 is about the size of the iPhone 6 plus, but just slightly taller.

if you don't like the small "hole" on top, then A9 for you. just like i chose A7 instead of A50

if you not bother with the small hole, then get A70. after all, why get something old when you have something new?

Check carousell. Got brick and motar shops selling for $440 walk in price. So $443-20 isnt really an exceptional deal.

Agree. Eyeing the A70 and managed to play with a demo set at Courts. My current phone is a Oneplus 5t which is 6.01". The 6.7' A70 is only a tiny bit wider while more elongated. Single hand operation is more than possible. Problem i see with the enlongated screen is that the phone might stick out if pants or trousers dont have deep pockets.
