Information On Changes of Syllabus

For paper with no variant

Choose the Syllabus and study guide and select the relevant file
For a quick check on the changes, go to the last page of the file downloaded.
For paper with different variant
Same link but choose the Examinable documents
Eg of the link for P2

It is linked up to other paper. In this case it is link to F3.
The document provided does not show the changes compared to the previous sitting. You would need to do the comparison manually by comparing two sitting information.

I posted this before. In general, exam always start on the 1st Monday of June and December. I have provided the sequence to the paper below
F6 & P6 - First Mon of either June or Dec
F4 & P7 - Tue
F3 & F8 - Wed
F9 & P4 - Thurs
F2 & P5 - Fri
F5 & P1 - Second Mon of either June or Dec
F7 & P2 - Tue
F1 & P3 - Wed
Exam result Date
For Dec 2010 result, it would be out on 18th Feb if you opt for result via email.

General information
F1 ~ F3 (AKA Level 1 paper )
You must have completed these paper before you can proceed to F4 ~ F9
OR
You can take them together in one sitting with one of the F4 ~ F9 paper.
Even if you have opted for the CBE for F1 ~ F3, you are still restricted to 4 paper per exam sitting / semester
Illustration
If it is the first time you are doing ACCA
F1 to F3 with either 1 of the F4 ~ F9 paper
If you have cleared 1 of the F1 ~ F3 paper, eg F2
Then you are allow, up to maximum of 4 paper, F1 & F3 plus either of 2 of the F4 ~ F9 paper
F4 ~ F9 (AKA Level 2 paper)
You must have completed these paper before you can proceed to P1 ~ P3
OR
You can take them together in one sitting with one of the P1 ~ P3 paper.
Illustration
If you have not clear any of the level 2 paper, you are not allow to do any of the P paper.
If you have cleared at least 3 of the level 2 paper, you can take the rest of the level 2 paper plus 1 of the P1 ~ P3 paper. However, you are not allow to do the optional paper. Explained in the P paper explanation
If you have cleared 5 of the level 2 paper, you can take the last level 2 paper with all 3 P1 to P3 paper. However, you are not allow to take the optional paper. Explained in the P paper explanation.
P1 ~ P3 (AKA Level 3 compulsory paper)
You must have cleared the level 2 paper before you are allowed to do the Level 3 paper.
Or
You can to it together in 1 sitting. I hope the illustration in the level 2 paper should give you an explanation to it.
P4 ~ P7 (AKA Level 3 optional paper)
You are required to do at least 2 of the optional paper.
You are required to have cleared the level 3 compulsory and all Level 2 paper before you are allow to do the optional paper. OR
You can do the the optional paper together with Level 2 and/or level 3 compulsory paper in the same siting.

Important. Some of us has made this mistake.
If, you have not cleared F7, you will not be able to do P2 because they fall on the same exam date. As you have to complete level 3 compulsory paper, you will not be able to do any of the optional paper.
A Note to all above illustration, please consider the exam date when selecting the paper you are doing. Please refer to above for the exam seq and date.
For registration with SAA or Kaplan or FTMS
For local student, you can register with any 1 or all of the institute.
It is not necessary to attend classes if you choose to do so.
