Haha sorry that I misunderstood you. Yes, this is the last resort as she really cannot continue with her NUS education. It is too difficult for her.

I am aware that ACCA is hard. I took 2 ACCA module before (Taxation and F5 I think) and found it not easy.

If a decision has already been made, then perhaps she can seek some exemption from the topics which she had already completed from NUS.

BTW, which year of NUS she is in?

She took engineering so I think no exemption. She is in year 2.

In Nyp, she scored 3.9/4. In nus, she scored cannot even score 39/100. I feel it is sad that poly and university standard is so wide.

Nah, it is not because of the difference in standards. Rather it is due to the fact she wasn't trained in the correct field.

Accounting is a specialisation field by itself. For those who had not taken accounting in JC or Poly will find it hard to grasp the concept.

I am not too sure if I can tahan ACCA or not as well. I just joined the course that is going to start in Jan. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Don't worry, i started ACCA from level 1 and i graduated with a diploma in engineering.. Now i am clearing my last few papers.
If you try your best to understand your lecturer whole-heartedly, you will eventually grasp the accounts concept. Good luck! =D

ohhhh thanks ! :s12:

is the lsbf classroom environment conducive for lessons?

quite okay, there are 2 venues for lsbf

(1) finlayson green (raffles place)
(2) GB building (tanjong pagar)

i prefer the environment at GB building, maybe cos its bigger? btw u need to check out on the modules the lecturers are teaching, to find out the venue.

lsbf for me, so far so good..
