Could you provide a link to the NTU 8 Flag website where you saw the $674 deal? I can't even locate 'Acer" on their website. I can only see Apple, Toshiba, NEC, etc.

First off, I know this is a Singaporean forum and my expectations shouldn't be so high when it comes to the proper usage of English, but I do hope you can clarify which one you are exactly talking about.

Just in case you are talking about the NTU Acer Aspire One, may I know where you got this information from? Have you actually gone down to see it and asked if it comes with a 6 cell battery or 3 cell battery?

Just collected my Blue AO150 from 8flags - $674.10 (staff purchase)
It comes with:
6-Cell batt
Power Adapter
Protective pouch
Free 4GB SD Card
Free Acer wireless mouse (optical)

Now upgrading to XP Pro...

i charged it for 5-6hrs...

to install ur own office.. u can use poweriso or alcohol 120% to convert ur office discs into a image. then install poweriso / alcohol 120% on ur acer aspire 1 , mount the image and install as per normal.

i think ur acer aspire one also has office inside liaos.. just ned to purchase cd key after 60 days trial..

the other way is to dl the copies from internet.. then use ur ORIGINAL cd key..

It comes with 6-Cell batt for $674.10? What about the 8GB SSD Linux OS one? Does it also come with the 6-Cell battery? Most specs say 3-cell but if 8-flags is giving the 6-cell for $588, then can consider.

Also, does anyone think the price may drop in the near future? Sort of like how the EEE 701 went down from $500 plus to $300 plus?

anyways i charged d A0150 for 3 hrs first time as suggested by some of d bros here.....loaded the huawei usb tingy without a hitch

im using the 2mbs mobile broadband plan from starhub....so far not bad.....surf quite ok and video streaming also okie.....anyways how 2 dl ms office from the net? isit from downloads.com?
