AF is meant for chassis fan.
SP meant for Radiator
For gentle typhoon it is good for Rad. But quieter than SP series. 1850rpm vs 2200rpm sure the SP can be heard.
Never try Noctua so not really sure.

From what I recall corsair fan need to buy dual pack otherwise its a bit on the ex per piece.
So static pressure fans are catered for radiator, roger that.
Or any others you can reco? Or rather is there a need to get additional fans for the following cases I have in mind.

- FD Arc Mini R2 (Comes with 2x 120mm, 1x 140mm fan)
- FD R4 (Comes with 2x 140mm fan)
- Corsair 350D (Comes with 2x 140mm fans)
- Corsair Air 540 (Comes with 3x 140mm fans)

Tentatively targeting more on the FD cases.
Planning for 1x 140mm fan for front intake if getting the R4.
If its arc mini r2 will be 1x 120mm, but the top included fan is 140mm cannot shift to the front 120mm.

Actually come to think about it among all the smallest will be either the FD r2 or the 350D already.

And come to think of it 350D has more options for cooling.

yup. but im very worried about the front looks of 350D, If i intend to mount a hot-swap bay in future.

But the good thing about 350d is that the filter is removable and not part of the front cover.

r2 filter is foam type which reviews said that it gets discolorised after sometime, but at least it does not have restriction in the front unlike 350d.

Haha then just get the 350D. The finishing is still very solid. :)

but but... 350d is just abit smaller from 540 and r4 :s22: (Brain stir..) that's why I'm holding on to the r2 which fits my needs from first page, plus its top i/o buttons, kind of like it. Just that the filters at the front/top are bugging me.

540, R4 has most of the flexibility for removable dust filters, hdds, wc, atx, etc.
r2 and 350d does have them too, just that its matx.

I think all the bros and my bro wants to humtum me liao, keep asking so many times.
Space can be allocated one. Like my bro said, its up to me to decide what I want, and what I have to sacrifice should I decide on that.

Wait, can that be done?

Have seen a few ppl do that in OCN since mini r2 front panel is the same as midi r2... I pulled out a little foam at the btm to see see.... but it will be quite transparent, and if u gt coloured fans, it will be more obvious looking through the mesh. Though with some DIY, it will look chio.

yea lol. I saw some one moding a 350d to support full size atx.

but some really put their passion to it. and really mod to their likings. ie carbon fiber stickers vynils. downside is the cost spent on them.

oh? my respect for you. that's quite similar to my parents. owe them big time for teaching me on my Chinese. during my pri/sec days.

Kind of saw some examples from ocn. Some mentioned about removing the foam to increase air-flow and get better temperatures. And actually sharpen/brighten the looks for LED fans.

The temp difference aint much, but the dust will be an issue. You would need a new filter at the front. If only demciflex would do an arc midi r2 ver.

This two may fit in, need clarify with them. But it is quite ex.
