FORGE 15X

$2240 vs $1835, how to compare this two ?

I guess screen and keyboard matters nothing to me, so itshouldn't be worth the $400 more for just the SSD right?

if the motherboard can last another 2 more years, I think still ok. compared to splashing out another 1-2k.

Just wanna ask, anybody using the Slate 15 model? Been experiencing battery issue (sometimes just shuts itself after startup or just prompts battery low and just shutdown)

Mine diff model but also has shutdown issue. However bring back servicing also no use because is random and canot replicate the problem so nothing is replaced or done at all. Now warns frds to stay away..

Said it was over voltaged... perhaps lightning? Fixed it quickly and I’ve gotten it back. No cost as it’s under warranty. Better buy a surge protector.
how does this even happen to a laptop??
lightning even?

Is aftershock laptop a reliable buy? I'm planning to get one...but the general impression is bad customer service and short lifespan.

My Aftershock S-15 (i7 7700HQ, GTX1060) is still going good, after 4-5 years. They still accept my laptop for general maintenance.
