So many hotels in hcm.

I had booked the fortune 700 hotel at Dist 5.
As per the "pay at hotel" option.
If I cancel at the moment I arrive at the hotel, my CC used to secure the booking, will be charged the full amt. I was left with no choice.

I know go KTV alone is abit pointless and sure chop carrot.

dont think amex allow dcc so shld not have extra

depends. verify that the hotel is still bookable on other dates on agoda first.

The reappearance may not be immediate. Moreover, the room may be booked by the hotel or other booking sites.

check again today, prices have come down from Sat & Sun !
Thurs seemed like good time to book

Agoda dont seem to jack up prices on weekends

isn't the rates locked in when you booked IIRC?

No, not when u choose "Pay Later" option

there is additional 3%-5% (?) fees added on Charge Date and also FX on that day (not booking date FX)

If the hotel does not charge in SGD, then SGD rate showing on webpage is for Pay Now, If you choose Pay Later, the exchange rate will be recalculated on payment date plus 5% fee.

ya, my price variance was about 7-8%
very dirty way to fleece people.

Yes that's why now I always go for paynow and free cancellation. Is cheaper compare to pay later and even if you really need to cancel, maybe just lose few dollars.
