Congrats on the update.

But very troublesome after update gonna install all the apps again. I update from feiyu 0329, then 0405, then 0429cmw, then 0429 livesuit. Next thinking whether wanna update to 2gb internal storage of just leave it at 1gb.

Btw, I wanna check with you guys what apps you used to backup everything and can restore back after FW upgrade. Suggestion, please. Thanks.

Your path is like mine. I do not load that many programs. Only those I need. I use titanium backup free. Sometimes u need the z4root to get it running fine. Sometime it comes fully rooted. I backup to my micro SD so restoring is quite fast. Do Live suite then change language and sleep timer. Then side load titanium backup free n choose what I want to restore.

There are also a few others.

Feedbacks on overheating?

Dear all users of aurora,

i'm helping my aunt to find a good and cheap tablet for her son.

after reading reviews, seems like aurora is quite popular and has changed to lg screen

however, i do have concerns how stable it is or will it get overheated easily?

cos is for kids to use so better not get the expensive ipad.

any feedback would be helpful.

i had aurora and had no bad experience..playing games mainly.
however, the new batch if aurora with LG screen, do not have significant difference in box...u might b cob into those "return" stock. those with LG aurora, does the box mentoned it?

Any advise on whether to get elf of auroura? I saw the ips screen difference at sls shop today and its really alot different! But I saw some where that the auroura got the ghosting problem where the touchscreen don't work properly and will sense touch when u never touch. I could live with the non ips if the problem with the auroura is true.. But then again, I think the advise here very trustworthy!

Dear HWZ bro / sis, Stay away from them (SLS)

1) Dont support them, the more you continue to support meaning to given chance for them to corn more consumer.

3) they only care to make profit, they dont concern care about consumer.

I try to describe at best I could. Don't flame me if anything goes wrong. Alternatively, go read every page in Slatedroid Aurora Feiyu mod.

- First your Aurora must be flashed to Feiyu rom 0429 using Livesuit.
- Copy the zip file into the SD card in your Aurora.
- Press and hold the Back + Power button together for awhile like 10sec.
- Release and it should boot to Recovery Mode.
- From there, Wipe Cache Partition and Wipe Davlik cache (should be under advance or something).
- Go to first page of Recovery Mode.
- Should see something call install zip from sd card.
- Follow the steps there to choose the correct zip file.
- After everything, the aurora should reboot or you can choose reboot.

i not going sls to buy this. since its china product, should be cheaper if get direct from them at those website as mention.

mars looks good, but is only single core? if only 1ghz, will it be very slow or laggy?

mars n tonado are novo basic n paladin replacement.
if so, not worth getting.
if ips is not an issue, elf II.

Market changing...wait a while n see what next.

I've lost touch with china tablets after getting my iPad 3 so I currently need recommendations on gettin a 7" 1024 x 600 screen that I can purchase within this week. prefer the new rk dual core or all winner is good enough for me(previous owner of novo 7A). Most importantly must hav good firmware support like what the 7A had.

I have a weird problem. A few days back I seemed to have lost control of the touch screen. Upon starting up I already have problem unlocking the main screen. Swiping it to the right in a straight line. However the circle goes left and right as if it is traveling around the screen. After many attempts I was successful is getting past the lock screen.

But once in the home screen the screen seemed to be moving from one end of the screen to another. It is as if something is being pressed on the screen. I sometime get messages that the launcher has failed. Basically now I have lost control of the device.

I tried to factory reset it but the same problem exist. I own the first batch of Aurora and I am currently on the Feiyu's ROM (cannot remember exactly but should be 0421 or something).

Is it is hardware problem or software? Will it help if I livesuit an earlier version of the firmware?

initially wanted to sell this tablet but decided not to. This is indeed a great tablet for the price, especially with the ROMs by Feiyu which makes it silky smooth.

i've been reading the threads. I must admit I'm not as techie as the most of the people here. I intend to wait and buy Aurora II which should be out in June/July.

Can I leave without all this Feiyu ROMS ? Can someone kind enough to tell me what exactly the ROMS are used for?

And whether I can do without it?

I just want to watch my videos, surf web, play games.
