Don't take the above numbers as absolute since there is always a margin of error, but as a frame of reference. (vs mindgamey's or seshuan's wattage and dB numbers)
Eg above mentioned XM1 as 82.1W in jet, but seshuan measured 73W. Official = 75W
The slight drop from XM1's CADR 406 jet down to XM2's CADR 388 jet (or 330 std high) is probably more than acceptable for 99.9% of the folks out there.
But it seems that it's doing ~50W for 388 m3/hr. 31W is for 330 m3/hr.
Bottleneck at the filter or fan end but understandable for such a smaller unit.
Samsung AX40 is 35cm x 20cm x 48cm = 33600 cm3 (700 cm2 footprint)。 Single useful speed as High, 323 m3/hr CADR @ 27W
XM2 is 24x24x52cm = 29952cm3 (576 cm2 footprint) CADR 388 @ ~ 50W or CADR 330 @ 31W
XM1 is 26x26x73.5 = 49686cm3 (676cm2 footprint) CADR 406 @ 75W or CADR 271 @ 30W.
MFresh M8088A is a bit too large to be directly compared.

(33cm dia x 71.5cm = 62k cm3). But it does give CADR 326 m3/hr @ 27W and is maybe 0.5 to 1dB more silent than the AX40 @ 323 m3/r @ 27W.
Of coz it is capable of 45W @ CADR 520 as well, or maxes out at CADR 580 @ 70W
The AX40 and M8088A @ 300+ m3/hr range run dB numbers noticeably lower than XM1, and possibly XM2. The dB noise figure at operating speed is crucial for those light sleepers, and from what I learnt in 2015 Haze season in this and the 2015El Nino/Haze thread, there are quite a fair number of these folks.
This low 300+ m3/hr range provides an excellent ACH number about 7-8 ACH in a typical BTO MBR + typical furnitures, which will be useful for people in the Sensitive Group. Deployed in a BTO bedroom which is even smaller = 没马跑。
MFresh and the XMs have remote control wifi/cloud function, very useful during hazy months so that you can control before you reach home or set some on/off timing. Normal days, not so useful.
