Mi air purifier 3 just arrived! Size comparison w the Philips ac 4025.

The manual mode allows me to choose what speeds, and the coverage area by each speed. Not bad! My first xiaomi air purifier purchase

I didn’t update to the latest version (iphone App store). Still using v 4.21.2

Actually there’s automation on the app, to let it auto switch on at certain timing etc. I used to set it and it works but sometime it doesn’t. Ever since then, I stop using the automation.

Eg. If you have the mijia PM2.5 detector, also can link to your purifier. And that detector you can actually put somewhere “outside” used to test this feature in the past. Now I don’t. So dunno working or not.

Thank you, the existence of “scheduling” was what I have asking a few times in the past pages. This sounds promising.

Do you think the NEWER mijia detector (the bigger one) will be able to link to the purifier activation as well?

Iphone don’t think so. Android u can try google search for older version. Not sure if it works tho’.

I don’t have the newer one. Don’t know can or not.

And the MiHome app can be buggy at times. No guarantee will continue work after update even if it was working previously.

Cos u can set level 1,2 or 3. Thats preset modes.

Then there is also a manual mode which you can toggle along the bar. To see coverage area vs the purifier mode.

I ordered from roborock official store. Mini helpers I read the comments here & on their page, don’t dare buy. Hahah. I submitted on tue 24 sep. Then sat received. Take note it’s 2 pin, need adapter.

Btw, may I know from which source did you order your XM AP gen3 from, & when did you submit your order?

I’m still waiting for mine from minihelpersSG (Qoo10).

哇, didn’t know minihelpers that bad, luckily I’m getting the XMAPgen3 as a spare, i.e. I was actually intending to get something that can have some automation/scheduling for some other usage scenario.

My order status with them actually reflected “Shipping scheduled” though. But I’ll cancel if it drags any longer.

I ordered from H&L Appliances store on 14 Sept @ $139, till now havent receive. Asked them when will deliver, keep giving me excuses.

I wondered if they fulfill the later orders first because they increased price to $169 later.

I am stuck now as I bought Qcoins using the 10% off Amex promo so if I cancel order now my money is refunded back as Qcoins.

It tells you the filter life. When it’s worn out, the purifier won’t work.

Filter life depends on your usage and the air quality.
