yep. i watched the View review multiple times until i got convinced of Xiaomi. before watching it.... i was fed up and was thinking of a electrostatic ioniser unit to do the filtration.

i'm not sure if i read the news wrongly... i don't really care about sound volume, for now the wifi control plus the ability to just clean up air fairly fast... that's primary to me. plus i have particle counters to do an independent audit for my environment to show that air quality has been improved - that's all that matters to me.

plus a low cost replacement filter (modified with mesh fabric i bought) is what makes all the difference for me.

I just bought the samsung air purifier AX40H5000GMD at $320 from Qoo10. Took about a week to deliver. I am very pleased with this model that it really refresh the air and solved our coughing problem with our dog in my room and i even tested in my living room, about 30sq metre, it still works well.

The functions are easy to understand and don't need a manual.

I have 2 pieces of this, only disadvantage is that it only has 2 fan speed high and low (and auto). I find high a bit loud, low airflow too slow. Wish there was a medium speed.

Anyway how come $320. Usual price is between $249-$269 with $15 shipping.

Believed was referring to different seller. Probably bought from the seller that comes with another extra hepa filter.
