Bought 8 filters in total. I have ALWWed the seller, they are using H12/HEPA-12 quality filter media.....hence that's 99.5% @ 0.3 microns thereabouts.
Not the other one who was using F9 which is lower grade.

544/8 = RMB 68 each on average. 30mm and 39mm thickness. Not too bad. FZ-200 model is for the KC-840 and A40.

You can alww them to customise. I just purchased off-the-shelf and cut, coz then ready stock and can send out within 12hrs. (coz I have current shipment with 4PX and don't wanna wait anymore)

Stock for A40 is 31mm depth but the cavity can handle up to 40mm. Stock for Novita NAP501i is 20mm, but the cavity can handle to 40mm. These are the ready-stock OEM models for the few air purifiers which are the china equivalent of Singapore models (eg China Sharp HF-200 or HF-280).

The models are not suitable for Samsung AX40, which needs to customise.

Erm easy to cut and tear or not. Use knife? Normal scissors can cut through?
That's my greater concern.
I don't have much tools in my home.

There is a white plastic mesh covering the whole HEPA meda. Use a wire cutter or plier cutter to snip out the mesh.

First, cut and/or tear the edge of the HEPA media from the aluminium frame. I guess you can also try to dismantle the frame, not that easy I believe but I don't have them tools to snip off the rivets.

The store is located at Shenzen, can alww (IM) the seller and see if can get RMB30 or so shipping. It changed to RMB100 now. The ULPA U15 (99.9997% @ 0.12 microns MPPS) is still RMB30.

I bought the filter at RMB185 + 30 = RM215 only or RMB53 per piece (!!! . I am talking about True H13/H14 grade HEPA element, built for ISO 10000-100 purposes and DOP/PAO leak test verifiable.....that is why it needs the mesh + aluminium frame to maintain structure integrity during shipment. The quality is way above your typical Honeywell/Sharp/Blueair HEPA you see @ Taka
Shipping to SG is RMB132, unfortunately. This can cut out to 4pcs.
And remember, this is a 46mm thick filter, if you do a search, this thickness is gonna cost.

For the regular cardboard sides HEPA (4pcs), it's going to about 2.5kg or 60RMB. But they cost quite a fair bit more, eg RMB 80-100 each piece. And they are the 30-32mm thickness, not 46mm which do cost more.

For the purpose of replacing the Samsung AX40 filter which has a filter cavity depth of 2 inches/50mm, this is the best i can find on taobao, way ahead of the rest.

Bro, I think if no tools better stick to the customised ones, it's not gonna be easy to cut these with metal netting and aluminium sides. Esp now that I have another verified H12 HEPA media seller who can customise. It's not expensive also at RMB120 each. Weight perhaps is 2.5kg for the 4 piece = RMB60 for 4PX to SIN.
Total RMB 480 + 60 = RMB540.

And you can just buy 1 for your Samsung AX40, don't have to risk much.

For the other air purifiers, can just get the other cardboard sides ready-made ones that you can cut easily into size. In fact there is direct replacement for quite a few models. like Sharp A40, A50, A80. For that seller, they use H12 media.

I'm ok with the cost as long as it's verified HEPA (by you haha) and it's cheaper than buying the readymade one off qoo10. Though at this cost it approachs the fellowes one right which is only 30+ SGD.

I'm like you, to me this type of money is cannot save one since i switch my 2 ax40 on every night.

Just install alww and IM the seller. And do treat yourself to other stuff on taobao like that 2kg activated charcoal for 75 to 99rmb.


The fellowes one is only about 28mm depth but is H13. It is also a wee bit more restrictive compared to stock (38mm).
Hence this customised one at 44mm and H12 and 99.5% 0.3 microns is gonna outperform in 'CADR'.

Inbfact commercial office filters are using F7 to F9 ranged

Cavity space - what i mean is the total space in the purifier that houses the whole filter.

Just message them....but you need to converse in chinese.

What are the benefits of UV lamps?
The 253.7 nm wavelengths in UV-C have been proven to effectively deactivate bacteria, viruses, molds, and more ranging from influenza to Tuberculosis at certain dosage levels. Not only do all of our UV units create enough UV dosage to destroy airborne viruses and bacteria, but in each unit the UV is located before and radiating on the dirty/inlet side of the HEPA filter. This key aspect of our design (which is part of one of our patents), ensures that larger molds collected on the HEPA filter are deactivated over time. Mold is large (10 to 30 microns in size) so it requires an incredibly high UV dosage for destruction (see UV Dosage Chart) in order to be destroyed on a single pass. However, given its size, it is easy for a certified HEPA filter to trap. The problem is that mold or other larger microorganisms that get trapped on the HEPA may continue to live and feed of other trapped particles. Eventually, this could destroy the integrity of the HEPA filter, ruining its efficiency, or more importantly the HEPA could become a breeding ground for microbes that are sent into your room through the compromised HEPA. But given the UV lamps shine on the dirty side of the HEPA filter (where the mold, etc... is trapped); all trapped molds are destroyed over time by the constant UV "bath." This not only creates a healthier environment for the person changing the filter, but it also helps the HEPA filter last longer than non-UV models (up to 6 years).

Yo man. I have 2 AX40. No problems one. Go ahead. Darn Quiet on low mode. The high mode is not as loud as other air purifiers i had.

My dehumidifier is only for my bomb shelter which is growing mold. Haha not for human consumption hehe

I sleep in AC. if add dehumidifier, think my eyes and throat gone case. hahaha
