For mine, normally turns red when I on it (after letting fresh air in) and remain for about 5 mins or so.. afterwhich seldom turns back to red unless I toss my blanket or uses deodorant.

Mine when I turn on it stays on Blue. Probably my house has clean air? coz I closed the house door, left the kitchen windows open only. I put the AP in my room.

Can I just check, AX40 when I turned it on the Air Quality indicator remain Blue for about a min and doesn't change color. Does the AP takes awhile to change color when it detects bad air quality or it changes immediately? Thanks.

You need the air to circulate awhile.

Usually at high power if the air is dirty the change will in around 10 seconds

I testing the AP with door wide open, and place it abt 2.5m away from the opened door. The indicator remain blue in high speed mode. Means my air quality here so good? I turned it on for abt 2mins already.

I am quite worried about this because it says SAMSUNG 'compatibility' Filter at the title page and there is one FAQ asking if it original went unanswered. I hope not 3rd party..

hmm yeah I see what you mean, I have cancelled my order to be on the safe side. this is what happens when you shop online in the wee hours of the morning :s22:

You testing it now?

The air today out is relatively good. I am not surprised it's ok.

My Xiaomi AP reporting 30 ug/m3 in my house right now.

On hazy days of AQI 150>, my AP report 50+ug/m3 (windows closed).

I used a birthday candle, blow it out and it generates a lot of smoke.

Mind sound smooth. Almost can't hear anything even on the high mode. Did you remove the plastic wrapping of your HEPA before using?
