Tradey...im at taka BD and the A40 is 429. A50 is 529. D40 is 459. A80 is 549.

A80 used to be 499 just last week.

Maybe can go GAB liao..if you aim A80.

Dont have D50.

The good thing about Best Denki Taka is that you can check out all the models, plugged in/powered on and listen to the sound and feel the output.
The Samsung AX022 and AX041 are also plugged in for eval.

The Samsungs are definitely less noisy and it's fairly noticeable.

Have anyone tried Whirlpool 37.4m² Air Purifier AP628W? It's the one rated the best by Case SG.
But my concern is finding a replacement filter after 2 years down the road. This model seems to be specially being sold in Singapore only. No overseas online store has been selling this and any replacement filter.

Samsung AX40 and AX041 are similar, just one is 220V 60Hz and the other is 240V 50Hz. Both appliances can work in SG...AX40 stress tested also.

Philips filters, can try Best Denki, but i reckon won't have your model.
Else can try taobao and DIY cut. Just get a bigger piece than your present filter and then slice it up, tape up the sides to reduce bypass. Note the depth also.

AP628W only 299 approx, ok deal.

Filter can DIY cut, get one that's bigger and slice it to size. Tape up the sides with tape/foam to reduce bypass. Note the depth also.

Is there any latest research that says ionizers in air purifiers will do harm to your health (ozone)? All those I read are pretty old, 2005-2007.

AC4002 original filter can get from Philips Toa Payoh. Not cheap though. Remember mosmos posted during Isetan(?) sale half price.

Other option is the usual cut to fit.

Unless I'm missing something, I'd get 3 units of AX40 at a quarter of the price and distribute the 3 units over the large area...

It's like Samsung or any other manufacturer's flagship 80-90" 4k TVs.

Don't think a practical person even with 3 mil in his bank would buy such a thing. :D
