The thin white piece is just a prefiter. No need to use it if it's 45mm. I use it for my 60mm.

箭头向外。Arrow faces outwards. There is a white tab there, for ease of future filter removal. The PP material is really non-direction, not like the others material.

Why is it thicker hepa then use the prefilter?

When I got my unit the first thing I did was to check country of manufacture to make sure not MIC

Just go and customise a thicker version at 45mm. Or even 60mm (check if you can close the cover. Get 4pcs for cheaper price. You will need that extra 5mm, as the TB HEPA is a bit more restrictive.

Else, the model is Sharp FZ-280HFS.
RMB 77 only, from the AX40 customisation seller.

Will probably add 5-10RMB to the price only.

1.5 months after PSI 100 hit and nearly 4 weeks of dense haze start, i think chances of getting a decent AP that is of value is slim.

Hah.. yeah.. given up and ordered AX40 online.

In short, whats the benefit of a custom AX40 filter ? Thread is so long and i went through many pages but cant find it.
