Happy Mall extra filter are in original Samsung box and sealed with the same black plastic bag. I didn't open up the seal but looks the same with the one that comes with the AP.

I think happy mall sells exports set, I can see their labels are Samsung.com.cn

I have bought from both Daiso and Goni, I can confirm both have the same labels.
More importantly, both have identical motors.

They just replied when someone asked if it is the original filter...

I sent in a cancellation request yesterday but still in progress....it's strange though that they didn't change the title description if in the Q&A they replied that its original

Have another AP + extra filter set coming from HappyMall though it hasn't been shipped yet

i just received my extra filter from GoniGlobal.

they failed to packed it together when they delivered my AP.
it is without box also. filter was in a clear plastic wrapper and "ultimate bubble wrapped" and shipped with Fedex intl priority (2 days lol)

though without box color is the same as what came with the AP.
Blue (HEPA) and Black (Activated Charcoal).
TBH, I wouldn't really worry about it being a 3rd party one.

they actually call me from Seoul when I submitted a ticket regarding my missing item. lol
as for the smell each time when u initially switched it on.
i would guess it is probably the smell of the AC, faint sourish to me.

Hi. can share how to submit a ticket on qoo10? I ordered extra filters from Goni on 27 Sep. Until now still with Dispatch... Need to escalate this.

Mine totally no smell at all. Maybe since day one I have already cut the filter and remove the Active Carbon. Cause I don't believe you can smell anything from hepa unless it leak.

with dispatch means with courier company right?
shouldn't u contact the courier company directly?
anyway, just ask them about your order in qoo10, they will then direct you on where to go forward depending on what situation.

Why would you remove the Active Carbon filter?

Smell?

Smell?

During haze period without the AC you have better air flow through the hepa filter compare to having the AC create another layer to block the flow.

Beside I never find really much benefit from AC which is just removing smell.

Hi anyone here, for your pre-order on AX40 custom size, the seller just allow us to order 12pcs only..LOL

They said the materials are shortage, due to MFG supply.
The early available made is around 20/10 then able to post out for us.

That is Sad man.

sigh u order too late and seller getting too popular... so u ordering batches of 12 then... add in some items each time for your orders... add in how many of us also order the Samsung AX40 and there will be more orders from them if they also want to get replacement filters at TB...

seller going good business here :D stock level left only 1 piece... wonder how much did it actually have previously lol

12 days later... add in delivery to warehouse and shipped to here and user collect maybe around end of October... :(

each time when initially switched on???!!! :(

Mine on overnight still got a machinery, difficult to describe smell which makes me feel uncomfy.

And, my nose has bad blockage for years so couldn't smell well unless smell is extremely strong.

btw, the light showed blue from the start of use. No change of colour at all. Then again, have been using for less than a day, hard to say also.

This sounds worrying. Not sure if AX40 can operate without the filter, or you may just want to try... remove filter and turn it on to see if there is a smell.

The fact that there's a need to put "DO NOT EAT" warning on a HEPA filter :s13:
