Orweidee hab iqair250

I wanted to bai a 250 as well, was only $600 for a 2-year old unit. But the new filters cost 700 bucks.

And even for bragging rights, Taobao customised filters don't go 4-5 inches. :s13:

Excellent condition

qoo10 do sell, same sellers

USed to go for 615 + 19 (qxpress) only. Need to pay 7% though.

Not sure about the filters.

PS, this would be good for those living in mansionette or condo penthouse, or landed. 2 units with 1400 m3/hr can do the living room of those big penthouses.
Half the foot print of 2 x AX40s, obviously. And of course, uses 1 electrical plug and have 1 wire to the socket only.

Hey guys, I think this has been shared before right

AX40 original filter, without box. SGD63 shipped.

http://list.qoo10.sg/item/SAMSUNG-COMPATIBILITY-FILTER-AX037FCVAUW/436997549

About item
1) AX037FCVAUWD/ AX40H5000GMD / AX40H5000UWD - 37㎡, 41.6㎡(HEPA Filter and deodorization Filter)

Seems like the TB filter is getting expensive. I bought 4pcs at 110RMB a piece last time, plus that time (last year) 1 SGD -> 4.8x RMB. Last week when you guys bought, it was 4.45 only?

So you guys do your own calculations hor. Pls don't flame me for recommending the Taobao filter.

gosh!

Qoo10 GoniGlobal no response at all??!!

Just pay and wait lah. Sometimes TB sellers also bo chup.

I know we need it for haze season now, but seriously it's been like that all along. 2013, 2014 to a certain extent. Haze comes, all people rush buy. OOS. Slow etc. 11.11 also same. Xmas also same, delays. Besides there were CN and SK holidays.

Car Hepa

Posting up this car hepa thingy for interested drivers:

item is locally available in that auto-chain store. Fixed price at $48 per box regardless of which car model. Not all car models have stocks.

Tried to find out more details on webpage listed but its a deadlink. Decided against buying due to 1. lack of details and 2. Cost

As recommended by bro Wuss, to explore FP7 Hepa material from TB.

Decided to explore my car's aircon filter and this is what i find:

7 months old filter/10000km clocked:

Hopefully, the product/OEM code will lead me to fruitful search results in TB.

Dimension of filter: 24 x 19.5 x 2cm. But there's a large cavity above the filter gives room for sizing the depth differently or perhaps put a bag of AC there. :s22:

Need to explore TB for solutions :s12:

Record was 06/08/2010
PM10 - 4.800 mg/m3 :(

Today PM10 0.004 mg/m3 ;)

:eek::eek:

No shiat man, that's like what they measured close to the hotspots in Sumatra/Kalimantan.

No wonder you have a "serious" F7 HVAC + individual APs. :s13:

For others, this was what happened in 2010 in Moscow for our bro here.

Already mentioned before, my friend. Do not use any sort of additional pre-filter. I can write a long story on the reasons and my experience and in-room measurements, but seriously......there really is no need. I always read posts about using pre-filter.

It's really just a waste of additional money, somemore filtrete. Even the Taobao filter is like 1.3 dollar a piece, and you throw it away 1 week later nowadays.

I had both the filtrete (bought for the haze) and daiso filter (bought 2 years ago) lying around the house thats why ended up placing inside AP

my ac unit was so clogged up it started leaking I couldn't use the filtrete there anyway so I re-purposed it for the AP

will use the remaining Daiso filters as pre-filter for my Panasonic Nanoe which doesn't have a prefilter

You can size it for 60mm, the "H12" filter. Main point, it needs to be thickhe filter depth dimension so that the pleats can be deep this much more surface area (use scotchtape/double sided tape to secure, whatever) and/or lower resistance media.

Seriously, the car cabin is small. You don't really need much cleaning power. But it will get warm, so you'd still need the airflow to keep cool and keep the AC coil from freezing. So try not to set it too cold.

Own risk hor, AC repair is not cheap. :)

if buy two of these I think my mother will probably scream...ended up with another AX40 which mother says wants to place in the dining room which has lower ceilings

I really think there's no way to make an entire floor airtight, like how do you plug the staircase :s11:

if it doesn't clean enough I'll just hibernate in my room

Your unit needs a chemical wash already, pronto.
