I guess if slp in ac will be kindda dry...moi is just use since the function is there. Supposedly allow the ion to last longer too. Theres other way to mitigate rh in ac with standalone humidifer but that may make ur ac work harder esp those who paste 3m filterete to their ac

I havent changed it b4 but can use critic acid to clean. some is just buy the blue medium and change

Does your cement screed wall give any problem in moisture retention? Ur new black industrial looking ap goes well with cement wall

Seems ok for the last 3 months, cos I go over with a coat of clear epoxy.

My 豹米 comes with additional 2 more hepa filters to the one inside so total I got 3 filters.

I have not got my pm2.5 meter yet. But from the built in meter I on at 44ugm reduce to high 20s in less than 10 mins with ceiling fan and windows closed with the high speed. Noise level at highest speed is slightly lower than A40.

Only 1 on off button, press the button 5 secs to connect to wifi. On the app from iphone to connect and set name for this AP.

Speed control has to be done on the app. Inside got graph. And pmi readings. On off timing etc.

It's true.

Pure data :

M8088A 728mm filter, 202 mountqains.
Convert to 310mm filter, it's 86 mountains.
72.8cm x 40.1cm = 2919cm2

Samsung AX40 310mm filter, I count 75 mountains.
Area = 31 x 28 = 868cm2

M8088A is 3.36 times area of AX40.

Depth is the same.

Overall surface area is like 3.9X that of AX40 media.

Filter is H11 though, but airflow velocity is very low, not sure how's the PM0.1 performance.

Guess that's how it gets 584 m3/hr (measured) or 580 m3/hr spec with 70W. 520m3/hr with 48W. 326 m3/hr with 29W.

This is despite the AX40 filter having a better filter media with lower hPa drop than the PP media of the M8088A. Just by sheer brute surface area of close to 400% more but at decently low price. No rocket science.
