still have but delievery dates 2 weeks.
maybe I jan then buy since I just got my wireless Bluetooth earpiece.

Hi, why don’t you choose to pick at Apple Orchard road? Pick up is daily but delivery is 7 days.
FYI, I went to Apple Orchard road to pay $98 for the lost of my AirPod charging case. Just provide them the serial number.
To be honest, I wrote an email to Philip W Schiller to complain about Apple lousy, confusing after sale services. An Apple executive liaison called me the next day and arrange the appointment for me to head down for the replacement. Those who head down Apple Orchard road for battery replacement was either sent to A lab or QCD for these kind of battery replacement service.

I have just got the airpods. Need some help here...
I have paired it with my iPhone, iPad as well as Apple TV. I connected with iphone and later disconnect it by placing back to the case.
Next I want to use it with my iPad but when I open the case, it did show the battery life for both case n Airpods in my iPad, but it won't able to auto connect to iPad. I need to manually connecting it.
Is it normal? It means Airpods only able to AUTO connect to the last device used.
Anyone able to advise? Thanks!

Side note....I really have issue using the double tap. Is really a pain, only work once out of 10 tried.
Found a better way by tapping behind the ear, at least the successful rate is higher.

Yes. Only last device. How do you expect the airpod to decide which device you want to connect to? Connecting to all is not a feature yet.

Hm...thought this feature was there during initial period (info getting from some forums) but later was removed.
They keep advertise intelligent connection to all your Apple devices that allows you to instantly switch between whichever one you’re using.
But end up it not actually that and it will be the same as others BT headset except the pairing process is much easier for Apple devices.

I feel it can be done by some selection control if few devices switch on at the same time...
For eg, if only one device is active, the airpods will auto connect to it.
If 2 devices in active, the airpods shd continue to connect to the first device and had a selection on 2nd device for a choice to connect.
When first device is not active, the airpods shd auto connect to next active Apple device.

Hope in the near future, this feature can be added on.

its normal. signing in to iCloud also ensures all your apple devices having the signed into the sam apple ID will receive the pairing bluetooth profile, but it doesn't mean it will auto connect.

You need to manually request the apple device to connect to AirPods so that your AirPods do not continuously search for the last connected device. This is the same for all bluetooth devices.

Apple has already ease up a lot of your trouble by only allowing one-time pairing process for the first device and subsequently need not to pair again.

And oh, you don’t have to keep going to the Bluetooth settings to connect to your AirPods on your other iDevice, but you can swipe up (or down on the iPhone X) for Control Centre, at the Media or Music section, tap on the top right (with the wireless icon or the AirPlay icon), and it will show you the list of devices to connect to.

Switch the audio on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Tap on the AirPods and wait for a few seconds and you will be connected.
