Life sucks if need to depend on CDC vouchers, need to find ways yo make more money...
It is not enough.
But, good since it helped a bit.
In the end, who is actually the contributing to the vouchers ?
It is just additional work to use our own money for some additional waste in job creation and credit gaining exercise.

I don’t quite agree.

the original version of CDC voucher, in my opinion, was a good way to channel some help to the lower and middle-lower income groups.

The lower income group is already getting a lot of help all along.
The purpose of the voucher is pretty obvious.
Dun need me to state it.

If we need the help of the vouchers, then the nation is not really planning its policies properly to help their residents to progress.
Something is wrong with its policies that led to this outcome.

(Pardon me for saying this. I guess you should be in a more financial well off position to host the above opinion so I can understand where you are coming from. I am not as fortunate as you.)

I got lots of ex colleagues same age range as u. Recently went into a discussion I was listening to, a lot of them got like 700k inside their cpf. Is this like normal?

forgot to mention that I disagree with latest version of the CDC vouchers when it was also given to private estate owners.

think this is just one of the tools to combat income inequality.

GST increase is to help the poor. That's what LW told us. Quite true, CDC vouchers come from GST. So can expect more increase in GST to 11-12% soon to give us more CDC vouchers, song bo?

this country is facing an Aging population crisis.

the bulk of GST increases is to fund future MoH expenses, I think.

by giving cdc vouchers back to lower income, it’s to mitigate the impact on them.

I have no idea on how else to fund the increase expenditures for an Aging population crisis….
