Last time i always get. Must have cut out like more than 5 times at clinics when younger. Back then I eat too much unhealthy stuff. Now I older eat less and the problem seems to have gone away.

I have one around 1-2cm on my back

I asked my GP and he say no point to cut if cos it cost $$ and downtime, small chance will recur and the scar from cutting is ugly.

He say as not growing bigger, not interfering with your life den just let it be. Unless it’s in a visible part of your body

Similar situation, but hand itchy thinking to get it removed anyway...can't make up my mind.

Got one on my back. Not inflamed. But quite big, maybe 1.5 to 2cm.
Any experienced doctor to recommend?
Polyclinic GP can handle drainage but not sac removal. You will need a consult anyway. If they think sac removal is necessary, they can make a referral.

I left mine alone until it ruptured from physical interaction with a cabinet and got mildly infected. Pain. Had it drained only. Still flat after 3 years.

Cost me $120 for GP consult, drainage procedure and antibiotics. No stitches. It was relatively small, under 10mm

I got unlucky. Mine got infected with swelling and pus a few months ago. Had to do a minor surgery under general anaesthesia to remove the cyst. Den every week change dressing twice for 2 months until the wound close up cos it was infected so they can’t stitch the wound so it was left open.
