I got the 6160 for three months. Very good in printing colour photo. I printed quite a bit and ink tank still more than 90% full.

Looking for a coloured laser printer that has wireless function, able to print 2 sides and affordable ink replacement.

Wondering if there is any preferred brand to get. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :s12:

It's all depend on your budget.. but in my experience, Brother printers are the best for

For product, I recommend Brother DCP-L3550CDW A4 Colour Laser Printer because This printer has everything you need and it is great for small business,

Considering Fuji Xerox's CM 315z.

Need colour & auto duplex printing, scanning & copying capabilities.

Auto duplex scanning function is a plus.

Any comparable laser printers from other brands, please?

epson ink tank models, printing speed is very slow (10.5 ppm mono), also can see color distortions. good for those who need to print lots lots of mono papers (receipt/invoice for example) every day.

Looking for duplex printer, can print colour, preferably below $200. Ink that doesn't cost a bomb.

Thanks for recommendations!

Depends on which models - your observation for the colour distortion might hold true for the first generation. The current generation using PrecisionCore print engines are quite good - even on plain paper.

Looking for a home printer for occasional printing only
Considering between an inkjet vs laser printer
Is it true that Inkjet printer tends to dry up if you do not use for too long (few months) ?
Any recommendations ?

Thanks!

I think it is L6170, saw the demo paper in store, there are obvious horizontal line spacing in a wide area with color gradient filled.

for those who don't print a lot every month, i will recommend HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, normal size cartridges support 600 pages (color) or 1000 pages (mono), super fast printing speed about 22ppm almost same as Laser printer.
