Mine is Korean frame (180+myr)
And Hoya lenses with multiple coatings. Progressive, blue light anti scratch etc etc

All in is 1480 myr
Hoya also got some promotion now so throw in a coating that turns my lense to darken color under sunlight, which usually cost 600 myr by itself. This time it's free

I did mine at Yong Ming Oriental KSL

Got my IC Berlin for 1500myr thereabout including hoya lens. Berlian KSL.

Bought a back-up normal glasses MYR300+ including lens because my grandfather wanted to make and buy 2 cheaper. Some random shop in mid valley.

Got Zeiss lens some years back I think 1.5 times a hoya? Found no difference so just used back Hoya for my next pair.

Want to compare price, better indicate the lens index as well. Lens index 1.60, 1.67, 1.74 price is significantly different price.

What brand and coating most lasting ah?

My zeiss the bottom of lens keep hitting the face, in the end coating still end up peeled.

Next time should get a better fitting frame..

I can 100% guarantee chop JB branded lens are cheaper.

I went into a spectacles shop in SG and tried to do a Lindberg. Came out to almost $1.2k or something stupid. I think the hoya lens was $300-400 alone I can't remember already.

I can make almost 3 pairs of IC berlin in JB.

Ya did in Berlian KSL at least 6-7 pairs of IC Berlins by now throughout the years, they always give me a good deal. I think the prices went up slightly in recent years. But when I check in SG, almost $800+ for frame alone if i remember correctly.
