Hi Necro001,

Yes, it's possible.

Are you currently using a DVR STB or the normal STB?

For the normal STB, there should be no issue.

Hi Singtel, will it be possible to provide a download location for the latest firmware? I'm currently on 1.21.10.2.1665

I’ll use Samsung connect if I don’t have singtel tv. If you’re using the wireless bridge already, Samsung connect will be more useful if you have Samsung phone also..

Looks like Singtel no longer provide download links for firmwares and those who got it are not sharing, so stuck on the old firmware for good.

Maybe that’s your hardware limitation on client side?

i tried on my ip7+, ipad mini, and adroid phones..... 40-80mbps for several weeks

i decided to troubleshoot last evening, this is crazy and I dont even know how or what I did to fix it... i enabled the router WIFI (previously disabled) and then also duel band steering.... (another SSID) , connected my ip7+ to it and it was running at wifi 300+mbps.

then i disabled this SSID, and then rejoin my main node wifi.... the speedtest results start to return 300+mbps. :s22::s22::s22: you can see the previous results (double digits one were all from the primary node wifi)

Doesn’t matter how you connect the nodes, because in AP Mode there is no dhcp handling. You can connect the nodes together as a daisy chain; like node 1-Node 2 etc, or you can connect to router directly..

Sorry how does it work?

both node connect to router through ethernet cable?

Node 1 -> Router <- Node 2

Or one node connect to another node?

Router -> Node 1 -> Node 2

Thanks.

Need your advice. I'm thinking of either getting Singtel Mesh or normal 1gbps and using another router as AP in masterbed room. Please correct me if i'm wrong as i quite noob (Sorry :(

So for singtel mesh setup.
Router/modem place it in the DB Box (Off Wireless, use as switch).
1.LAN Connect the router to mesh 1 in the living room.
2.LAN Connect the router to mesh 2 in the masterbed room

OR

Router/modem place it in the DB Box (Off Wireless, use as switch)
1. LAN connect Router as AP in living room
2. LAN Connect ROuter as AP in masterbed room
