I find that I have to flush multiple times when I use the water " saving" toilets. Especially after taking a dump. Otherwise got floating objects.
So dunno how that saves water
Because you pee more than taking a dump. You don't dump as many times as you pee.

So the saving is still substantial.

The effectiveness depends on the final flow of water entering the bowl. Some designs dump a lot of water down the flat back and isn’t very effective. So far the most effective one in my experience is the twin cyclonic flow, small flush also can clear big business most of the time.

Don't use the water saving half flush.

Got one prc did a test across different brands of toilet bowls. Half flush, whether you using tornado or normal, China, USA or Japan brands, there will surely be a bit of backflow.

If you do half flush, your pee will resurface back and causes those urine stains and limescale to form.

I discussed this before, somehow the pee and the minerals in th water will somehow cause a higher chance to limescale formation.

Pee also sometimes need multiple times... unless leave floating paper for the next user ( who will probably flush for you)

Use little paper only.
But I see the paper still there.
Sometimes when I enter the toilet, also see paper there already . But water looks clean

I am scared of sai water drips onto the floor ,and the need to clean the plunger thoroughly

Optional component scheme

I spot my wife's a strand of hair stick at the bowl sometimes ,I just flush it down
Try to avoid fallen hair in the bowl as they are not easily decomposed into small fragments. Close the toilet cover when not in use and comb hair outside the toilet. Cigarette butts also cannot throw inside the toilet bowl.

If you unload a big load, then add a load of paper on top of that load, it will probably clog the whole load.

Flush first, then wipe, flush again.
