My friend who is studying in one of the courses from this school failed a module too.You can try to appeal but from what I understand,appealing is only for the purpose of recounting the marks to ensure that they did not miscalculate.They will not go through your answers again to see if they should award more marks for it.My friend plans to retake the failed module again next sem but he has to replace one of the next sem's subject with it as the school has a limit on the number of subjects you can take in one sem.He will be attending somekind of enrolement session to switch the sujects he will be taking next sem.

Also,if the module you failed is a pre-requisite for one of the subjects in the next sem,you won't be able to take those subjects until you cleared the failed module.

Hiyo, i'm taking BBEF PT. anyone taking introductory accouting, law of investments and financial markets and price theory next semester? Can give me some insights on these modules?

intro acct is quite easy, just pay attention during lect. i didnt have any acct background but i took notes diligently, in the end scored better than my classmate who had bg but didnt listen.

hope your lecturer is balwan singh (cant rmb spelling), he's good.

Did not take accounting, exempted.
Law, you will need to do alot of reading of the text, so exam would be easy to find the ans (open book)
Price Theory is quite similar to Price Market, lects are boring, but if you do lots of readings, shld not be a prob.

hey does anyone knows how does RMIT's grading system work?

Like for how many marks for High Distinction, A, B etc?

:)

and does it have like 1st upper class, etc?

sorry if i asked a stupid qn :p
