New Sign Up Processing Time

TDA has updated me that due to the increasing backlog on new sign, it would take approx a month or longer for all new sign up. They are also looking into how to quicken the process. Hope this helps.

Yup! Cash account balance you see on the TOS platform is for US TDA account.

You cash position would be lower of the Cash & Sweep and Option Buying Power value.

Yup! I believe the preferential rate TDA told me is the same as DBS remit. I would update here once I get clarification from them.

Current new sign up takes 2-3 weeks after submitting all documents. Funding via DBS transfer takes 1-2 business days.

I suggest to create IBKR account as well.
Their comms are low.

I suggest have both of them because TOS or IBKR at times have server issues. U cant trade or it is super slow when it happens. Sometimes cant login for abit.
