I called the cso and they confirmed that airbnb falls under the dining and leisure category. Haha better check my statement next month. Anyway quick qns, will airbnb incur anz's cross border fees of 2.5%?

My AirBNB transaction in SGD did not incur 2.5% cross border fee. I must call the CSO later since they only gave me 1% rebate for that transcation

Btw for airbnb and agoda, 5% rebate is under travel category right? Not dining and leisure

You have to check the merchant code for each of these f&b outlets

Don't be surprised that the billing company which posted your credit card transaction is another name

I use at cafe pub bar restaurants ok. 5%

Direct thru AirBnb.

I called ANZ CSO and they confirmed AirBNB.com is considered travel website thus it fall under travel category instead. I suggest cherrystalk to call them again to be sure :)

Anyone got annual fees charged in March and asking for waiver now?

Im unable to get a waiver as cso says from now there is no more waiver for all cardholders regardless of their spend. Im not sure if I can believe this and hope to hear from the rest here. Thanks.

Doubt they will say such thinGS.

Optimum card is their premium card. Unless your annual spending is very little that why they see no point in waiving

I have been getting the 5% for restaurants big and small. Think so far the restaurants I went to has the right the merchant category code. Btw, the 5% is capped at 30 optimum$ per transaction (ie $600 spending). Also per transaction rounded down to nearest 0.1 optimum$, then end of statement optimum$ earned rounded down to nearest optimum$.

I called yesterday and didn't get a waiver too. I spend about 400+ a month on groceries. Too little? When I said I'll cancel my card they were OK with it too. Hmm...
