Anyone gotten their late payment fee waived off by ANZ before?

Rare... I only got it waived once and that was because I didn't receive any form of notifications, emails, sms and physical letters for my first bill.

I had to call them twice and email them once before they agreed to waive the late fee/finance charges, and this is for the 1st offence. Other banks will usually just waive off the 1st offence as a form of goodwill, but ANZ makes you jump through hoops.

you could say you called many times but their CS hotline was always engaged. Put some weight behind your argument.

I called yesterday and didn't get a waiver too. I spend about 400+ a month on groceries. Too little? When I said I'll cancel my card they were OK with it too. Hmm...

yes it is successful.

i just called them to waive my annual fee for my travel card. CSO insist cannot. so i go ahead to cancel it. ANZ seems getting stricter and stricter now.

Maybe try not to talk to the CSO, use the phone option to waive the annual fee. That's what I did for my travel card. I waived the Optimum card by talking to an officer. The CSO seems very easygoing? He said confirm waive.

and then i got sms say declined.

i called them and the CSO say cannot do anything.

Some months ago (Nov-Dec 2015) there was this promo whereby card users spend $100, they can get between $1 to $9 if they sms in and get a reply confirmation .

Did anyone manage to get the amount credited? as cash credit or Optimum$ ?

I received nothing until now!

Base on my own calculation, I should have earned $300 rebate from this promotion. But end up they only credit $189. Missing $111.

Wow thats a lot, u should scan all ur receipts and screen capture all ur sms and email them.

I just spoke to the and they said credited on 17 March as Optimum$.

My last 2 transactions did not tally and was not captured by them as there was a fault in their system that day resulting as my receipt IDs appear to them as duplicated when both are fresh receipts entries.

I won in Feb but yet get in April, if you read the sms clearly, it says it is pending for the bank approval, which means if we win may not be approved too?
