What is the brand of the luggage? should i sign up on Saturday so first to approve on Monday in the next qualifying week?

I think it doesn't have a brand. Monster size, advertised as hard shell but in fact I felt it is very soft, may break after one or two uses if the airport cargo ppl are reckless. Forget about the luggage and just focus on getting the $168. Luggage can just come as an extra

Called ANZ, they shared that it's better to chk with the merchant if they are on ANZ as a shopping category and to get merchant code to verify with ANZ. However merchants I called all refuse to disclose their merchant code

Quite interesting - every $1000 gets 30 optimum $. So technically if merchant willing to break ur the txn say 10 x $1000 will be entitled to $300 optimum $.

Just gotten this card, not able to talk to any agent over the phone even though I was on hold for 20 minutes. Just to check:

1. I applied a principle card and a supp card. When I logged into anz.com.sg, the Activate Card portion, I saw both pri and supp cards. But after I activated both, I only saw the pri card in my account. Is this normal? Does my supp card holder need to register an account to activate the card as well?

2. The category of spending for rebate, only the pri card holder log in to make selection will do right? And it will apply to both pri and supp card?

3. The default category is Dining and Leisure right?

finally managed to talk to someone. so both my cards are activated, and so I made a choice of Dining and Leisure and I applied......

Important, I have to log in to make category selection evry quarter before 25th. Better set up calendar alert.

anyone knows if Gassan Singapore @ Changi Airport T1/T3 registers their Merchant Category Code (MCC) as Shopping with their acquiring bank?

i called ANZ, they told me to check with merchant. Called up merchant, they said its secret cannot disclose to customers.

without confirmation on the above, i am between minds if i should use the optimum card to sign for the watch at Gassan. ....

any ideas?

i tried once but got $20 . It was only 3 mins past midnight.

Hv to make sure transaction is done after midnight and wait generate receipt. Its quite difficult. so am wondering if anyone really manage to get it.

I got it last weekend. I made a mistake on my first one at 12.01 and got $1. Managed to get the $188 At the next minute.
