Just ask the person to swipe (12x$600) total $7200 worth of travel expenses in a travel agency.

Can anyone advise if I can get 12x$30 of rebates or just 1x$30?

even the customer service manager will inform u these.
nth wrong.
all along they have no cap for their respective category as long u cap ur rebate @ $30 per transaction.

Thanks! Just want to be sure.

Cause I did go by their rules unless not stated.

It dun cause some embarrassment to ask the person to do it repeatedly for 12 times and I wan to make sure it is worth it haha

Been a while since I posted here but realised the T&C is very ambiguous for ANZ card regarding what happens if you set the preferred spend category during a period (because you just got card). The internet website kept having issues and ANZ telephone support said they will get back to me but never do - apparently it has issues with new registrations. Then after reading T&C more closely I realise that the $30 cap in rebate per transaction applies (making it useless for big spend) and I just feel in general it's full of 'gotcha' type strategies. Can't be bothered.

Back to my AMEX, 365, SCB and Citi SMRT combination.

ANZ tele support got a lot of complains. I think they know about it and are trying to improve.

Was grateful she did not show attitude to me since is a wierd request

just had 1 of the weirdest phone convo with an ANZ CSO, basically the back story is that. my wife had earlier signed up an ANZ Switch card under my name, which I had completely forgotten and then I personally went to roadshow to sign the Optimum card. Upon realising I have a switch card application ongoing, I called in to retract it, but it was too late since it got approved. So 2 weeks ago I called up ANZ and the CSO escalated it to a manager, who said will escalate to their product manager to see if they can make an exception for me.

Today I suddenly remembered this, decide to call up CSO again. The girl insist it is not in their record, I then look through my call logs and managed to identify the number that manager used to call me (which I believe is a generic ANZ call back line). I gave the number to the CSO, CSO immediately identified the name of the manager, and also the CSO whom I spoke to 2 weeks ago! If there was no record at all, how does she even know, so puzzling

exactly lo, i have to say that throughout this whole saga i acknowledge it is my fault for overlooking my existing ANZ application. but at the very least the product manager should call me and tell me that im ineligible, the stupid CSO was just trying to smoke her way through. i can tell tat she was hoping i would go "oh no record? thats too bad then, its ok" :s22::s22:
