Saw online the promo 100 dollar cash rebate + free luggage when signing up new card:

Can anyone advise if the 100 dollar is really a Point Reward or a Optimum dollar? It seems a no-brainer to apply for the Switch free card if 100 dollar can be redeemed...of course you need to spend 488 dollar within a month of approval. Any catch here?

$100 is optimum. i called to ask alr.
i shuold be hitting the 488 soon this month.
so shuold get the luggage + 100.

A week has passed and I still don't see the annual fees reversed. Called again "Sorry due to the high volume of fee waiver request there are some delays..." "But my fee waiver is approved already right?" "No... not until we see the reversal applied. Sorry for the confusion"

Won't use this card until everything in black and white

I think you will get Optimum dollar if you apply Optimum card. I wanted the free Switch card and it said it is in form of point reward....
