Hi, does anyone knows if watsons and guardians are considered as shopping or groceries?

I think none. If you have CIMB Platinum master card, you can get 10% off on Watson and guardian since it is considered under health and wellness.

So we have until 19 June for redeeming Optimum$s for cash rebate. Must do something, I am Optimum$12 short of the next Optimum$50.

I wonder what is the conversion rate to DBS points.

Just got verbal confirmation by speaking to an ANZ agent. The transfer will happen in June as expected, and the rates are as follows:

1 Optimum$ will map into 1 Daily$
1 ANZ Reward point will map into 1 DBS point
2 Travel$ will map into 1 DBS point

This also suggests that the optimum card will be mapped into the POSB everyday card.

Did the tone of the CSO's voice sound confident on these conversion rates?

It's too bad if they really replace anz optimum with POSB everyday card cos it has a minimum monthly spend right? I like the ANZ Optimum cos it didn't have minimum monthly spend. Well it was a good run.

He claimed to have no information initially, but after I pushed harder he went to check and got back with the rates. Off the back of my mind they look reasonable based on the earn/redemption rates.

Currently Daily$ redemption has no restriction like min Daily$50, right?

Hopefully DBS will not also map in the min redemption Optimum$50. lol

Thanks for pointing out, but I use BOC Family Card for those.

One thing I really liked about ANZ Optimum dining was that I don't think they exclude hotel dining, which BOC Family does, so it was complementary in that sense.
