Think the promo is over. Also I remember ssomeone posted the prices for the Visa promo have been jacked up, so nett discount is less than what is advertised.

Hmm so u mean anz uob dbs promo all "better"? Cos i did composure the visa 10% and uob 7%. Visa indeed cheaper.

I did not make any comparison in my previous post. Just saying the actual discount may be less than what is advertised. Ultimately need to do some homework to see which is the best option.

just an update, someone FINALLY called me few weeks back to breakdown and explain. long story short, they gave me back the missing optimum$ finally in my 3rd statement.

and speaking of which, after receiving 3 statements i still have not gotten the $88 ... :s22:

T&C states 6 weeks after qualifying... anyone experienced delay?

Are you new customer for ANZ cards? Only new customers are eligible for the 88 optimum$. Also it is in optimum$, need to redeem (in lots of $50) for the rebate to offset your bill on the card.

according to T&C

Existing holders of ANZ Credit Cards and applicants who had cancelled their ANZ Credit Cards in the last six (6) months prior to the date of application will not be entitled to the Gift.

many years ago I did terminate a ANZ card, but according to T&C that shouldn't be a problem? how long did u take to receive the 88?

Still waiting for mine too... I have had issues with ANZ not awarding the bonus $400/$200 for spending >$10,000 on my ANZ Travel Card during the Xmas promotion last year so if this $88 promotion screws up too, I'll probably cancel all my ANZ cards - the customer service is a pain to deal with. :s22:

ok ah. quite simple actually

call phone banking.
eng press 1.
> nric holder press 1.
> enter nric number #
> select credit card balance
> enter 16 digit card number and credit card 6 digit phone pin
> say out amount owing and minimum payment amount due date
> repeat previous message
> DONE!
