Hi guys, a little OT regarding the ANZ Platinum.

wld893.jpg

The card's base point accrual is effectively 0.38% rebate based on the redemption costs. However, when it comes to select 20x accrual for select merchants like courts, the rebate would be up to 8% right?

20X Rewards Programme Bonus Rewards Points and Eligible Spend
10. Bonus Rewards Points will be issued for every S$100 spent at the list of merchants
prescribed under this Promotion (“Participating Merchants”) based on the total eligible
spend made in the month. The total eligible spend will be rounded down to the nearest
one hundred dollars.
11.Cardmembers will be required to charge a minimum of S$500 retail spend within the
same calendar month to be eligible for the 20X Rewards Programme.

14. Bonus Rewards Points are capped at 7,800 per calendar month. Beyond the cap,
Cardmembers continue to earn regular Rewards Points for every S$5 spent. For the
avoidance of doubt, ANZ Signature Priority Banking Cardmembers will continue to earn 2
Rewards Points for every S$5 spent locally.

So is this card good to apply for purchases with the selected merchants under 20x and 6x accrual?

So much useful information. I have just gotten my anz optimum card. I chose the travel category when I applied for this card. May I enjoy the 5% rebate when I book flight on expedia? Thank your very much.

Hello guys,

I have cancelled my UOB One card, since they increased min spend from 300 to 500. I dont think I can consistently clock 500 every month. May be I can if I prepay bills in some low spend months and do averaging. But I hate that hassle.

So now ANZ Optimum is my primary card and my only card. I dont like keeping more than 1 card in my wallet. So I applied for the ANZ optimum sometime in May I think I got the $88 rebate and also spent enough to redeem 2 vouchers of $50 each.

The category I subscribed in dining. My wife does all groceries shopping and she doesnt like using credit card, so dining is the only think I can clock most.

Now since this is my primary card, I have also subscribed for EZlink ATU on this card. I read that with ANZ Ezlink ATU, I get 5% rebate if monthly spend is above $300.

But this link doesnt tell which ANZ card, this applies. Does it apply for ANZ Optimum?

Sir,

It's a pain, but you have 3 months in advance to nominate, and they even sent a reminder to you. If you have check the forum, everyone was also reminding each other so.. you only have yourself to blame, and as for the no internet banking thing...

But sure, go ahead and cancel :)

Think they should have kept the selected category until we requested for change for the next quarter. Having to choose the same category again every quarter seems quite redundant.

IC, anyways, there is some merit in still using ANZ Optimum for EZLink ATU as it might just push up the rounding of the points in my favor. :) I lose $0.25 to Ezlink which is like 0.5% of $50, but I get back 1%.

I tried the link, it works from my PC. May be it doesnt work from phone.

Everyone post here on dining and travel.

Anyone tried Retail and shopping? Shopped at uniqlo and wonder if that mightve been eligible.

Am using ocbc365 also so was thinking of switching my optimum to shopping at 365 covers most other cats

Optimum is quite restrictive for shopping. Department stores are excluded.

I would suggest u use citibank rewards for shopping. Cash rebate abt 2.7% but if u choose cold storage vouchers abt 3.3%

Thanks bro! How does ANZ travel visa stack against optimum? I understand everyone is saying it's 2.5% effectively now. Why?
