That shows you how ugly some humans can be, taking advantage of others.

If one's Maximum Capacity is not at least below 80% after a year, the problem (most likely) isn't the battery, it is the user who uses the phone a lot.

My iPhone 8 is 24 months old now and the capacity is at 90%.

my iphone 8 (replaced 2019-Jan) by apple SG is now 89% health, coconutbattery
shows 470 charge cycle.

I do charge anytime, heavy usage. Not even eligible for free battery replacement thru online chat with apple. This have applecare+. No fuss. just enjoy using

1. The apple support told me there's no battery level requirements to make the change under limited warranty - true? Seems like a few users said its not.

2. How long will the change take? Do they provide like a phone during the repair?

3. Do i have to backup data and wipe my phone for the change?

Nope, unless your battery status show replace required or you willing to pay $99.

Usually about 2-3 hours

Yes, do backup first before send in for service but no t required to wipe your phone

1. true they didnt check mine, just replaced last week iphone x.
2. depends on where you going to do it, if there are'nt much issues, they replaced it for me within 2 hours.
3. yes back up so you can restore later, i was given a new phone, they didn't just replace the battery... even if they are just replacing the battery, should always back up.
