Apple store Singapore is unlike the ones in USA. You only get treated well if you pay. If you don't pay don't expect free replacement etc. Though there are rare cases where you get the entire device replaced if the technician fked up the repair based on what I've read from the forum.

The "genius" are trained to push away customers who are not paying. Speaking from personal experience I have been to the Orchard store several times for screen replacement, battery replacement for iPhone and Macbook.

My XS was drop from 94 to 90% overnight. Something wrong?

Xs max bought last September or Oct .
100 percent for quite long .
Since drop to 99, keep on dropping . Now is 93.

Can change battery for free ?

I think I’ve already stated the obvious. Apple Express Replacement Program.

Put up a good case to convince them and request for the above service. Things that they won’t be able to diagnose with their diagnosis app. Think along that line.

Depends though. Near 80% will. Maybe below 85% higher possibility.

the replacement battery not as good as the original as only a year after my changed, my battery showing 92% already. Unlike my original that i use for ~3 year than 86%

I went to Apple on Monday and attempted to get my battery changed. Mine is 85% and is eligible to change. But I didn’t send in.

I am on iOS 13.1 Beta and this was flagged by their system. I’ll wait for the official release first before sending in.

The $99 is permanent unless apple make changes. Some models is less than $99.
