Noob to AppleCare+ here… if I buy a second hand iPhone with AppleCare+, is the warranty transferable or it is tied to the original owner? For example if I bring down to service center, will they check the owner or require original receipt?

Deal with trust lol.
so far I only sell with one applecare+ and send the agreement to the new owner years ago.

did Refund before selling another device also and if I’m not wrong, applecare+ can transfer ownership Too.

Some ppl said you can buy applecare within 1 year at alabs. No need to be within the 60 days. But quite strange I saw info at their website, they say need to buy within 60 days.

https://www.alab.sg/services/applecare-protection-plan/
Because that is the link for MAC? Go to their main page and pull the slider, it will show you 365 days to buy the Apple care+.

Both QCD and A.Lab offer this service now.

AppleCare+ 365 is an extended service provided by QCD Technology (Singapore only) for customers to purchase AppleCare+ at any time within 365 days from the date of purchase of your Apple product. AppleCare+ is normally available only within 60 days from date of purchase for most products like iPhone and Mac. AppleCare+ 365 is available only at QCD service centres in Singapore.

Interesting. Wonder why apple will allow this. Good for those who forgot to buy applecare within 60 days

Just wondering why apple will allow that
https://www.macrumors.com/2020/08/20/applecare-one-year-purchase-option-details/
US and Canada Apple does it since last year.

Similar to insurance policy, not all buy get illness and claim. Some bought but did not get a chance to claim it.
% of claims/abuse claims if lower than what I collect from sales of service, why not. And especially if I able to make profit or does not make losses per claim, it looks good on me and I wish to get more people to join.
There's must be a reason else it wun change from 1 coverage per year for 2 years, to 2 coverage per year for 2 years and NOW unlimited coverages for 2 years.

Like Casino, they don't scare you win. Only scare you dun wanna come and play.
