for some reason

suddenly become tired of bicycle with speed option

as in used to have bicycle with speed options eg 7, 18 or whatever

now, find them hard to maintain and manage

prefer those one speed or two speed

thinking of selling speed option bicycle to get some with only one or two speed

make sense?

depends on how u ride
u probably need it for slope

Savings? What savings?
sorry was refering to the price difference.

i dun really know the prices in sg .
Yeah, i see that you mean. The current chain might also need to be shortened to increase tension?

I was also considering if I should just get LBS to remove the 1st and 3rd chain ring and then slap on a chain guide/guard.

Actually come to think about it, it's kinda redundant to just get a RF or BS 32t single chain ring to replace the front? Since the current is already 32t. Unless the removal of the 1st and 3rd chain ring has limitations or is impossible.
actually you can use the FD to act as an chain guide and guard.

but frankly having more gears is much better than having lesser, if you wanna cut weight there are more better ways to do that.

i dun see how difficult isit to maintain and manage.

i have a close to 10 year old 8 speed road bike, still working well dont even need to tune (tiagra level)

but if youre travelling in flat area and dont find yourself changing gears then okay to use single speed bikes lor

How do you use it? All pumps have a limit on the air pressure they can force out of the connector. So now the qn is how much pressure were you trying to achieve with this pump?

If it's a relatively new pump or one that is seldom used and it displays such behaviour, then it is likely to be one that has low build quality = flawed design which prescribes the inner workings of the pump, the mechanics of its operations, the materials list and how the different materials are assembled.

You may be able to locate the fault by detecting air leakage by performing some simple tests.

spend a little bit more on pump, wont regret one.

my old plastic pump from chain reaction, want to pump till 80 psi also damn difficult.

bought new pump from rodalink , pump till 110psi without any effort..

Just changing my front to a single chain ring. Rear will still be utilizing gear changing on the 11-34. I'm fine with my current setup, so it shouldn't be any different to what I'm currently riding.

If you don't use your granny 22 in front at all currently, means you'll be fine. :)

Can't say that. The undulating teeth profiles of the NW enables you to ride rather securely (even without a chain guard, which adds weight and drag), as compared to a normal ring. You save weight by removing 2 chainrings + front dee + shifter. And of cos makes the cabling less messy.. hah.

I like toppeak floor pumps, big thick metal cylinder, stable base and easily serviceable, pump head seal also good

Don't like their hand pump though, doesn't grip well enough onto the valve head

The price difference between the Singapore price and the Hong Kong price

Oh, how much is the price difference?

Edit: Just to add, food for thought if you intend to buy from slash-price shops like the one you mentioned from HK :

- Add 7% GST when you bring or ship it back to Sg.
- $xxx to assemble your new bike if the shop hasn't done so for you.
- Warranty claim fee will apply if you didn't get it from local dealers and if and when things go wrong with your frame.
- You run a high risk of warranty void when buying from an unauthorised channel, and especially if online.

Now the area below both my knee caps are so painfully swollen due to excessive & prolonged exertion that I can't even get out of bed. The area below my right knee cap is especially painful. My seat bones hurt too.

What could possibly be the cause(s)?
Most importantly, how do I cure this disabling condition? FAST!
I haven't been riding for a long long time.
