Anybody tried mounting SJ4000/Go Pro camera on 25.4mm handlebar? Prefer those small compact mounting rather than that big gigantic "universal" mount.

Anyone has recommendation for mounting stuff (e.g. cycle computer or light, etc) to the stem?
Most devices don't seem to have the option to mount at 90 degrees rotated.

Hopefully nothing too expensive, as it's for my low-end bike

Mount on handlebar can? Can turn any angle. But is for hand phone size only. Selfix got sell around $20.

I recently started a new route (for me) Pasir Ris to Aljunied and to my pleasant surprise i found out about this gem of an uncle in his 70s who freelances servicing and repairing bicycles near Aljunied! Just my luck my BB started to have a bit of play and every LBS i've been to quoted me a bit on the high side to replace the entire BB + labour so i decided to see this uncle. To my surprise he said he could solve the problem by replacing the ball bearing and even gave me a "10 year warranty" if the BB acts up LOL I was skeptical to be honest but after he did his thing my bike was as good as new! Uncle has been doing bike repair since he was 15! It's amazing what you can find out talking with peeps from the neighbourhood so ya this uncle @ Aljunied who is not 100% legit (no shopfront per se) but does a stunning job at affordable prices! My 1st way of showing my gratitude i decided is to recommend his services to anyone keen!

by chance got a flat no spare tube aljunied going towards upper aljunied so stopped and ask the neighbourhood for bicycle shops nearby they pointed me to this uncle who waits under block for business

Thanks for the info. I'm still can't decide as I mostly cycle on PCN and also a leisure, recreation cyclists. Wonder if hybrid is the right type of bike as I have foldies.

Since you already have foldies, then bigger size shouldnt be a problem. I guess a road bike or hybrid would be most suitable. Personally I like hybrid because the wheels can travel fast and the handlebar and front suspension will be more comfortable than road bike. Only if you think speed and lightweight is everything, then road bike is better choice.

If weight and speed is of no concern, then mountain bike is most comfortable and rugged. I like mountain bike because i can ride it anywhere i like, especially off-road trail.
