I dare say its the cyclist fault, no matter whether the boy was running here or there.
that is obviously the case here

When it comes to PCN, forget about speed. Just have to cycle really slow when people are around, especially small kids.
that is only an assumption, not unless you have tried doing so.
anyway, no point debating over the matter, I think it is irrelevant now and wouldn't help improve the stigma of cyclist with the general public
only when everyone is civil minded about such things.. but I don't think it will ever happen here.

How fast is fast? under the speed limit on PCN also will amount to the same result (vary on severity of the injury) There could be scenario with the boy making sudden changes into the path of the cyclist. Even at the speed limit of 16km/hr, the impact will be sufficient to hurt the boy. Unfortunately, kids are prone to getting injured more than say an adult because of their height (within the wheel and handlebar range)
bad practices are highly contagious and self manifesting.
lack of reasonable punishment, -> lack of enforcement, -> bad practices, -> norms
Now when the MRT breakdown, no one gives a flying fug rite? Soon when toddlers are killed by cyclist, it will be the same too
not sure if that is a good thing or not.....![]()
how to enforce, no license number
Bring this back? I remember is $5 yearly. Should include insurance too?
