When it comes to PCN, forget about speed. Just have to cycle really slow when people are around, especially small kids.

This is why I have been so outspoken about cycling on PCNs. Don't do it. A kid hit by a cyclist was only a matter of time.

anyway, no point debating over the matter, I think it is irrelevant now and wouldn't help improve the stigma of cyclist with the general public

there is no way to improve..... ban cbk cyclist from cycling meh?


for drivers, they have many ways to get cbk drivers off the road (If they want). Either by points, or by raising insurance.....

How fast is fast? under the speed limit on PCN also will amount to the same result (vary on severity of the injury) There could be scenario with the boy making sudden changes into the path of the cyclist. Even at the speed limit of 16km/hr, the impact will be sufficient to hurt the boy. Unfortunately, kids are prone to getting injured more than say an adult because of their height (within the wheel and handlebar range)

Too fast to avoid the boy, that's the point. Forget about speed limit. I don't think you have the right of way of 16km/h when it's crowded.

Confirm can cycle up. Its not long. I only use 53/21 on my 451 wheels to climb most of the slopes, including Loyang slope.

And sometimes can climb up without changing gear.. depends on the acceleration just before climbing the slope.

Loyang Ave toward Tampines Ave 7, the slope is quite steep.

got no recollection when I ride there though.. shldn't be any problem with a single chain ring.

you shld try Mt faber or Kent ridge, those slope then got kick
