If i choose to skip local uni and went ahead with private uni (night class) as someone is willing to offer me a salary almost similar to what uni grad are getting?

Will the next company look at my salary and ask why the company is paying so much more for a diploma (at the time of employment) despite able to produce the pay slip and recommendation letter by the previous boss?

How much compensation your next company is willing to offer you is often not determined by where you graduate from.

Unless the qualification is lower: Eg, Diploma instead of Degree

Critical roles will be moved to Singapore from other financial centers like London and NY like Compliance and Operational Risk

Non critical roles will be moved out of Singapore to cheaper countries.

Due diligence - depends on company structure.

Some companies it is under compliance, some companies it is under middle office, some companies it is under operations.

Under compliance (Best)
Mid office (not bad, but not best)
Operations (worst, if can avoid these companies)

Analyst - what kind of analyst? Like Equities Research Analyst?

It's just that these companies are MNC and I guessed they screened every ah pig ah dog whenever someone joined the company.

Due diligence usually means documentation.

In fact compliance in general is not about finding loopholes, but about how current (or new) policies will affect the bank, moving forward.

other industries such as "engineering" are also highly regulated and nids someone to "poke holes" mah..... but bank pays soooooo much more

3. Is Linkedin needed for internship application. Also print name card as student is it too much or shows I am serious?

4. Is overseas summer school = job exp. cos was told it shows you can mingle with "diverse workforce"

4) Overseas summer school is nice (if you can afford it). can learn from people from other cultures
