One more question, I tried to find the user manual from the Yamaha SG website, but cannot find the manual for YSP-2200, anyone knows where I can download it? I tried the US website, but needs to register to a US address before I can download it

We are looking into this matter for sure. Because we are in Commercial building and we don't have Starhub Set-Top Box and the service, hence we will need more time to look into this matter. If BD Player works fine, very high chance might not be the HDMI on YSP2200 problem.

Anyway we had no concrete test against which is the main problem, so we would appreciate your kindness to allow us to have more time over this matter.

We will PM you once we rectify where is the fault.

I finally had time to try your suggestions but eventually nothing works.

unlike the PS3 console, xbox s 360 doesnt have the option to specify optical as audio. anyway i called xbox support and had a 1 to 1 exchange but still the same issue, xbox claim that if you have both hdmi and s/pdif connection, audio will be routed to your optical cable.

the dtv/cbl input only specify which port to connect your cable, doesnt route video or audio.

thanks to my samsung tv, there is an option for external speakers. I need to switch to tv speakers whenever i watch with hdmi audio/video. hassle for x360!

You can't force it bro.

Do give a check over your Xbox 360 HDMI Audio Settings. Set the HDMI Audio to OFF and try.

I am using a LG 50PG70 Plasma TV so u can rule out incompatibility with the TV. HUBStation is also connected to Ysp on HDMI2. It seems like the hubstation needs to do some kind of handshake (sync) with the YSP before they can work together. But for some reason the settings don't get locked into either the Hubstation or Ysp. I noticed that it's a similar type of handshake that takes place when I connect the hubstation to the tv the first time or when power is reset on the hubstation.

Hope that Yamaha team can hv a word with Starhub on this. Thanks!

Hi all, just got my Yamaha YSP-2200 yesterday evening, and all was good till I connected the Hubstation HD to it. My setup is Sony KDL40EX520 connected to YSP via ARC, BD player to hdmi1 for YSP, Hubstation HD to hdmi2. When I watch BD via hdmi1, all is good. However, when I switch to hdmi2, I see blue screen flashing. When I power off the Hubstation, and power it back again, the images come in. This morning, when I wake up to try again (all machines were on standby mode), the blue screen happened again! I had to once again power cycle the Hubstation to let images appear. Anyone has faced similar problem? Do note that I had swap cables and connected the Hubstation directly to the tv, and it works. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Hi boxster, I jus combed the manual & I suspect we need to turn hdmi control setting to on. This will enable video & audio from hubstation to pass thru to tv if ysp is off. Hv u tried this? I can only try it coming wkend. Let me know if u succeed earlier.

HDMI pass-through works perfectly with my BD player, so I do not think it's the pass-through that is the problem. At least I know I am not the only person with this problem I can't seem to get HDMI control to work with my Sony LED TV, it worked the first time I turned it on (means I can turn off the SB when I turned off the TV), but when I tried it again, it doesn't work I am pretty sure the KDL-40EX520 is ARC enabled on HDMI1 input (For TV). I have not tried much, as I am not home most of the time, I will try to check it again tonight.

We have Home Theater Systems that can use with PC, TVs, and Media Players but not those PC Speakers types.

We had ranges from Front Surround Systems to HomeTheater-in-a-Box and to higher priced types, all depends on your budget.

You seems looking for speakers alone. Well these speakers cannot work without an Amplifier. Therefore, you will need a something from here.

Based on your budget, i think you rarely could find any models from us. Can you up a $300 more to top-up to $800?

Hello, I will give it a try, but I believe I tried all combinations. As long as the SB or the cable box is off, the next time you on it, the blue screen happens. I will try again tonight to double confirm.

No problem! But just 1 question about HDMI control, when I first set HDMI control to ON, I was able to use my Sony TV remote control to on/off the SB together with the TV, but when I tried it again last night, it seemed to fail. Any idea how I can "save" the settings? Is that the reason why the I am having the blue screen, since some settings are not being saved?
