Hi, I'm interest in Aventage RX-A2020, any promotion during GSS or up coming exhibition?? And what's the official warranty period for this AV Receiver?

Also, I notice the price of A2010 and A2020 are the same on Yamaha online shop, which shouldn't be, right??

Beside 4K passthorugh, 4K upscaling and AirPlay, what's the major different between A2020 and A2010??

Thanks for answer.

Hi kcng,

There is no major difference between A2010 and A2020.
You have already know the differences between them. If you have a thought of 4K future proofing, provided future to change to 4K TV and Sources such as Set-Top Box and Blu-ray Players that handles 4K, this A2020 could be something you should look at.
Else, there is not much of difference other then features in it.

Just touch on a little more over AirPlay, having AirPlay is to stream musics directly over WiFi network on iOS devices. You could also use our AV Controller App to do similar function to stream musics directly from your mobile devices [Android & iOS] and control the AVR at the same time.

Cheers!

Hi kcng,

At this moment i do not have anymore new stocks for RX-A2010. We only left with Showroom Demo Unit for clearance if you interested.

Retail price for RX-A2010 is $2499. I'm afraid i am unable to disclose the demo unit clearance price to you on forum.

Warranty period for all Singapore Yamaha AV Receivers are 1 year warranty from the day you pick up the set.

Cheers!

Mic Delay rx-v373

I am having problems with mic delay/latency and i wonder if you have any suggestions.

I have a new Yamaha rx-v373 receiver, (this receiver has no mic input). So the mic is attached to mic input on a phillips blu-ray player. The blue ray is connected via hdmi to the receiver.

I estimate a 300-400ms delay from the mic to the speakers. ( Its annoying for karaoke )

Things I have tried:
1) Turned off lip sync on the receiver
2) Tried using red/white connectors from the blu ray audio output to the audio 1 input on the receiver and changed the audio source to audio 1 - I get the same delay.
3) Similarly I have also tried another cd player which has mic input and I get the same delay through the receiver, this suggests that the delay is caused by the receiver.
4) Tried using "straight" mode on the receiver and I still get the same delay.

Thinking about buying a new microphone as the one I have is quite old, but that shouldnt really be the cause of the delay right?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi

I am planning to get an Yamaha soundbar in US as the price is much cheaper. Is there any problem with the voltage as US is different from Singapore?

Thanks

Hi bro,

Just to double check, are you using a MSP5 Studio, or a MCS5 Studio, as i am unable to find the model you have indicated.

If so, from what i understand, what you are using is a professional audio speakers. As we are handling with AV products, it would be better if you could provide me with your set-up for us to further assist you?

Does your set up have a subwoofer output? I guessed your speakers should be a active speaker with built-in amplifier. Hence, if you do not have subwoofer output, i don't think you have choice to add a sub.

Do let me know.
Cheers!

YSP-3300

Hi,

I bought the YSP-3300 from AH during the weekend and a very good product indeed...:) Happy with it although burn a hole in my pocket...

I was given a free give YIT-W10 instead of YIT-W12...not sure whether this is a in-house free gift or by Yamaha. Can advice?

For the YIT-W10 it can only use on Apply i product ...and the port is not the new iphone 5 port.

I am thinking of selling it. May I know what is the current retail price?

If I use it, is there adapter/ converter in the market that can attached to the iphone 5 so that it can connect to the YIT-W10. Most important, can YIT-W10 reads my i-phone 5 then?

Thanks in advance for help to answer these questions.

Was considering a Yamaha soundbar as a replacement for aging AV amp (denon -- no HDMI) and satellite speakers (definitive tech) and to declutter the mess of wires around the TV console table.

BUT I prefer to have a headphone jack for late late night solo movie nights and I realised too late that my recent TV purchase (LG LCD TV) doesn't have a headphone jack and most of the Yamaha soundbars, except for YHT S401, don't have a headphone jack.

So is there a simple solution or should I just replace the AV amp with a new one with HDMI and forget about decluttering and sound bars???
