Last year got the XZ-1 at SG$267 on Black Friday sale.....Can never get it at this price in SG......

I took a look at the memopad hd pink coloured one at best denski.


Memopad HD 7 pink colour on display. have plastic body and plastic screen.
Nexus on the other hand is glass. Hold and feels very solid on hand.

BUT having said that. The white colour one look not so toy-ish. The green, pink and blue make it feel like a child play toy feel. Like for begiiners tablet. The screen is quite alright actually its only the feel when one holds and used it. Perhaps its more suitable for Children and ladies.

It doesn't seem manly.

If you get a case with it which protects the back, no one would be able to see what color the tablet is. The front is the same color no matter which color option you pick.

Were you referring to me ? Initially, I paid US$129 but they lowered the price and I contacted them about it and they told me about their 7 days price match policy and refunded the US$10 so I paid US$119 in the end.

Bro if you want to buy the 10 inch tablet ... You should consider nexus 10.. Cheap and good too.. Around sgd$370 plus.. Look at sited forum or nexus 10 thread.. It's with local warramty

Prices all went up. Stocks also ran out. I bought another @129. Total 4 HD7. That will be 2x bought at 129 and 2x bought at 119. Now whole family have their own tablet.

You can get the screen protector and cover from Amazon also, or you can choose to get it anywhere else.

Not sure what you mean by travel charger but you can just use any existing micro USB charger to charge the tablet. And if I'm not wrong, you only need an adapter, not a transformer, to use the wall adapter that comes along.

U do not need additional charger, the supplied charger is two flat pin type.So u need a pin converter plug.

Any memopad hd7 users here experienced yellowish tint on the display? This is very notcable in white backgrounds on websites. lowering the color temp in splendid app will help but the yellow tint is still noticable. You think i can have this replaced? I checked a display unit in sim lim and it can display correct white even at default splendid app setting so maybe my unit is defective.

Bigger screen of similar resolution, slightly faster chipset, but greater power consumption, similar battery size

TBH, I'll just wait till the nVidia Tegranote variants get released in SG and get that instead. T4 chipset is multitudes faster, microHDMI port, stylus support with pressure sensitivity and not much more expensive locally (SG$249 VS $299) or in the US (US$149 VS US$199)
