oh thanks.

but will the Tegranote ever come to sg?

We're waiting for it.

So far, we know that EVGA, Zotac (which is bringing into SG), Advent Vega, Xolo and a few other manufacturers/OEMs are sapping their brand onto the tabs rolled out of nVidia's factory, and HP is releasing their version this year end (HP Slate 7 Extreme) for SG$299, but I'm avoiding that one due to the out of place HP logo, breaks the nice looking front symmetry of the device

Question:

You guys think - if getting a MEMOPAD HD from Amazon or Getting a set of Nexus 7 2012 refurbish set from Ebay or other online shop is a better option ?

MEMOPAD HD 7 cost about USD$149
Nexus 7 refurbished set cost about USD$119.

If you are about to get one online say from Amazon.
Do a consideration so you will not regret after placing an order. :)

You have options to save cost and a slightly better Tablet as well.

Not sure if I should post in this thread, am a Asus Memopad HD7 owner.

Wanted to share a new item I just bought, the Sineoji WD720 miracast dongle $99 (Wireless WD720 - Sineoji). I tried to search online but didn't see any reviews so just to share my experience.

The device supports the DLNA and Miracast mode of the Memopad HD7.

Miracast mode is easy to use, just need to toggle to the right mode and connect using the Wireless Display option in the memopad. The resolution is limited to the display resolution, had not tried any high speed gaming so can't comment on the lag.

DLNA mode is able to play 1080p movie clearly but requires a few steps to setup the device to connect to your home router. The advantage here is that you can do web surfing while the video is being played. You can either use the included app Airfun (needed to configure device for router) or other players (tried wondershare player).

Anyone can recommend some youtube player & PPS app that supports DLNA for android? I tried PPTV but connection seems bad, video keeps failing.

I tried using the default youtube player with WiFi Direct but it didn't work, had not try to diagnose the problem yet.

HI

Since you requested :-

Take a look - its refurbished set comes with 90 days warranty.

ONLY USD$129 for 32 gigs.
16 GIGS one also $129

Asus Google Nexus 7" Tablet PC - Walmart.com

Google Nexus 7" Quad Core Tablet With 32GB Memory Refurbished: Computers : Walmart.com

They are refurbished set. 2012 model.
I think its a good grab.

The rest of the decision or follow up is all up to you.

Can use the 3rd party shippers to deliver it to Singapore via your USA address.

can input the link for the refurished nexus 7 set?i cant find it thanks

At the time of my last post it was USD119 for 16 GIGS
and 32 GIGS was $139.

Now its adjusted to $139 for 16 gigs...149 for 32 gigs.

Just monitor Walmart page. They keep having new offer once a while than readjust upwards in a day or 2.

So its when you saw it and you are keen- grab it.
BUT you needs to firstly register a walmart account and add the given USA address in the account.

So usually they offer free shipping inside USA. And from USA to Singapore using 3rd party shippers. harge about Less than $20 I (think)

Look for that refurbished Samsung Tab 3 only $139 USD.
Compare to if you buy locally...........save alot.

Seems like the ASAS TF300T is also selling at a refurbished price of 200USD. Is it a good deal? :o

The price of the item have been reverted back to USD$149+. You will need to monitor it and see Amazon will lower it again. The price shown now is USD$162.49 sold by Firemall LLC at this link: Amazon.com: ASUS MeMOPad HD 7-Inch 16 GB Tablet, Blue (ME173X-A1-BL): Computers & Accessories
You will have to look under other "new" offers and watch for it when it displays USD$119.99 or anything lower than USD$149.

Hope this helps.
