Anybody knows which and what type of cable/adapter to connect PFI to Projector via VGA?

get a slimport. or any adapter that supports MyDP coz this is the only system that's supported by the padfone infinity.

need to connect it to your phone though. the station doesn't support this. :( hope the next station can support whatever the mini-usb on the phone supports.

I'm considering to get the ASUS Padfone Infinity but I'm worried about it's support and hardware.

Is it available in Singapore? Amazon is out of stock for the slimport VGA adapter...

Thats my concern too. The Padfone isn't a popular product and seems to have very short refresh cycles. From a parts availability and service centre competency standpoint, I'm not sure if it can be well supported in the future.

It doesn't help that I recently had issues with my Nexus 7 and Asus GFX cards as well.

For me, what attracted me to buy this is the 2-in-1 concept of phone and tablet. That's pretty innovative on Asus side, to be honest.

Overall, other than the QC issues ( I got a lemon out of the box ), I'm pretty satisfied with the phone so far.

Another thing is, this is not yr mainstream phone ( aka iphones, samsungs ) which almost everyone is holding now, so got unique feel to it lor hahah

yes, everybody is using samsung or iphone

gave up on samsung for support when omniaII battery died at 18 months and cannot find new original battery to replace

samsung website was still selling omniaII, yet call them and they say no battery to sell

learning point = never mind which brand, as long as product can last for 18 months good enough becoz based on experience since first mobile phone ericson 388? or something, all phones last about 18 months with good operation

anything more than 18 months, sure got some problem and diminishing performance

of course, some other brands, last only for 12 months and superseded with better models

remember diamond? or O2?

I bought so many phones over the years and never went down to service centres before I even sold them.
I did went down once last week to Asus because of the firmware flash issue (Asus fault) but I did get very good service so I couldn't complain more, except that the place is so ulu and far away.

The 2-1 concept is definitely a plus point. Also apart from that, the specifications of the phone is also top end together with HTC One and S4s....

was looking for phone bumper case but cannot find

after using PFI for 10 days, most of the time, phone is in docking station

so no need for phone case [lucky did not buy original flip case becoz not cheap, after 20% discount still cost $50+]

given transleeve, so using that

and anti-glare screen protector on phone and station

bought online and self-install

quite disastrous, self-install end up with too many dirt/air bubbles but no choice becoz cannot find any shop selling outside

however, can accept becoz not visible when using station or phone

Guys,

no bumper case available in SG. trust me, i already checked. you can try online shops but these won't be original asus products.

what's available though are the padfone infinity flipcover and padfone infinity station transleeve at main starhub shops and harvey norman
