Sian, my touchscreen got auto touch problem, just happened two days ago while playing Tiny Death Star. Auto touches intermittent on the top left corner. Rebooted, recalibrated touch screen, problem went away... But only for a while.
Called the service centre yesterday, the pinoy service lady asked me if I had installed any apps in my phone. What the hell? It's a smartphone of course I've installed apps on it la! So I told her I haven't installed new apps recently. This problem occurred when I was using my phone normally, the same way I've been using it for the past 6months plus, only now suddenly got this problem. She told me to back up everything and then do factory reset. Sian, I hate this cuz after reset must recustomise the whole phone (Android users know what I mean). Anybody got a programme to do this ah? Any cloning application that serves this function?
Anyway, I sort of accepted my fate that it may be a firmware problem, and it's just part of the diagnosis procedure. But judging from the posts here, I've a feeling it's a hardware problem too. But the lady still said that I have to do the reset just to rule out the possibility of firmware problem. Haiz.
So now, I gotta backup lo. Lucky Asus has an app called App Backup. Anyone used it before? It supposedly backs up your apps and app data as well.
