has anyone tested the GPS, any issues?

i think if you totally depend on gps without internet access the location is not that accurate.

it's perfect with internet access. zeroed to 10m radius accuracy.

based on the latest news , there wont be any 3g model ! Asus marketing team is a bunch of idiots .
There's so much potential for this tablet to be the best selling tablet ever, unfortunately Asus team seems to think that if the sale is moving meaning nobody cares about the weak wifi , gps problem and non 3g features .

u must understand SG is only a very small market. not sure about worldwide usage but maybe the rest of the world don't really buy 3G tabs anymore? anyway, im pretty sure manufacturers don't really care much about what SG customers want compared to the huge market demand elsewhere.

TELCO problem.

How's that a Telco problem ? all they need to do is released new 3g version with a new plastic back panel that does not tie to any telco .
a 3g chipset cost only 10+ us dollar , what's the problem to include it as standard feature ?

Ur lucky if u get 10m radius, it depends on ur area's infrastructure. My area can reach up to 100m, dats y thres 2 type of permissions when u install apps- Coarse(Internet) and Fine(GPS) Location

If im not wrong, all 3G products need to be approved by IDA, juz like PS Vita, Wifi version will be releasing first while 3G is pending approval
